Our guests may enjoy sitting in our Victorian Parlor with its working fireplace amidst many fine family heirlooms. If you wish, you may try your hand at playing our 1860's parlor pump-organ. Soft music is available to set the mood - just being in this room will take you back in time.... |
| Our lovely cottage garden will delight your senses with its many specimens of hollyhocks, dahlias, gladiolas, hibiscus, and roses. With its winding paths, you may feel as if you're on the "Yellow Brick Road"! Many guests enjoy spending time outside befriending our neighboring cows. The swaying corn and wheatfields which surround us radiate a peacefulness that you can only imagine unless you've experienced it. If you prefer exercise, right around the corner you will find a walking trail running beside a trout preservation stream providing a wonderful place to enjoy nature and scenes of rural Lancaster County. Relaxation is our specialty and gift to our guests. At days end, sit in one of our porch swings and enjoy the breathtaking sunset beyond the nearby silos-providing you with the ultimate serenity for a cozy night's rest. |

We will be happy to arrange for your dinner reservations, if you so desire, and can recommend many fantastic restaurants in the area, or dinner with an Amish family. As your host and hostess, we will try to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible!
