The Cameron Cottage has recently been completed in the detached former "summer kitchen". With only one step onto the porch, it is easily accessible for handicapped guests. Decorated in colonial green and burgundy, the suite has a stately historical feel. Old fashioned country comfort abounds beginning with the lavish four poster king-sized bed. Layered with a warm mattelasse comforter and quilt, your pleasure is guaranteed. A special sitting area invites you to read, watch television or quietly enjoy the fire. A gas Vermont Castings stove has been placed inside the original walk-in fireplace. Cooking was once done in the "Farmers Friend" insert which has been preserved. In the beautifully decorated cabbage-rose bath, you will want to try out the soothing whirlpool tub. From here you can see the crackling fire while soaking. There is also a quaint breakfast nook which may be used by guests wishing to dine alone. A continental breakfast will be delivered by basket to your door in the morning or you may choose to join other guests in our main dining room for a specially prepared breakfast at a specified time.
